Dave Chappelle on YouTube. From Motor Trend fame. He had vids under Dirthead Dave. He’s more into the FWD world but recently bought a street rod that was done on Hotrod Garage. Interesting guy.

Unfortunate same name. There’s a guy with my name that is always in trouble with the law and it has extended traffic stops for me.
Dirthead Dave (Chapelle) does stuff with mini trucks, 4x4’s, and hot rods. Worth the watch if you’re into that stuff.

I had that problem. The local police had a snitch with a Buick Les are from the early 80’s with a certain blue and pickup tires on 15” rims. Well I bought my uncle’s 1980 impala with the same steel wheel setup and I had all sorts of law enforcement problems with that car. I wasn’t speeding, or violating traffic.

I had the same issue. The messed up part is, aside from having the same 1st and last name, my middle name is Brian, and his was Ryan.
We're both born in the same month but I'm 10 years older. We both live in the same town.
His wife's name is Beth, my ex wife's name is Beth.
I found out about him because we used the same pharmacy. The pharmacy messed up our insurance and was charging my insurance for his scripts. My insurance company reached out to my doctors office wanting to know why I needed a certain medication. They said they didn't prescribe it to me. So the insurance co decided that I was trying to fraud them, and had the pharmacy call the police. When the other guy showed up to pick up the scripts, he was met by the police. After he calls his doctor, and a phone call from the police to me, they get it all straightened out. Turns out that the pharmacy had been charging my insurance for his scripts for a few years. If it hadn't been for the special meds that needed pre-authorization, they wouldn't have caught the mess up.
a couple of years later, a friend approaches me and pulls me off to the side. He tells me that if I need some money help to avoid foreclosure, let him know. I was flattered to have such a good friend, but I was okay. Turns out the other guy was in foreclosure. The local newspaper used to post legal announcements. Al saw it and assumed it was me.
A few months after that, my wife gets pulled over (because she has a heavy foot!!!) and I was with her. Of course the cop wants to know who I am, and I tell him. That turned into a whole thing, because guess who has a protection order against him? They had to verify I'm me and my wife wasn't the person the other guy wasn't supposed to be around. For the record, my wife got the ticket anyway.
The gut kicker was when this guy died during COVID. Another friend calls my wife telling her how she just found out about my passing in the newspaper.
No other feeling in the world quite like reading a obit with your name on it.
I think if people bother to read my post I’m talking about the Dirthead Shed Dave. Let’s keep any replies on that subject
