Applying Rust Killer to under carriage /frame any reason not to ?

On new builds are you guys putting any undercarriage rubberized coatings on? This dynatron stuff comes to mind. I have some and mine is just painted, but its new metal now and I have the opportunity to do it now with good adhesion.

No. Rustoleum is tough as nails yet easy to touch up if needed. Undercoating is a ***** to get off.

I have used rust converter for years & it works very well. Clear liquid that comes in a bottle. Wire brush loose rust, then paint it on. On warm days it will dry in under an hour. It converts the rust to Ferric Phosphate & it turns black.
Once dry, wipe over with a damp rag & paint over it with your paint of choice.
