Hi , knowledgeable mopar folk, can anyone tell me if the 1973 and later small bolt 9" drum set up on the slant six cars is the same as the earlier 67-72 years? I ask because the wilwood disk swap for 9" drums only lists the 67-72 years.

99% of 73-76 A Body Slant 6 cars with Drum brakes are 10 inch diameter.
A very few, early build 73 cars, came off the assembly line with 9 inch brakes, with left over parts, until they were used up.
Finding 9 inch brakes on a 73 are pretty much an odd ball thing.
But answering your question this way, No, 9 inch brakes, are not the same as 10 inch brakes, 73-76.

I think your answer is YES, and that agrees w/ what hemi71x states. People here have reported some 1973 cars w/ 9" drum brakes, and all of those had the "small bolt pattern" of 62-72 cars. Thus, it should be the same spindle as on 67-72 9" drum cars.

One question is why Wilwood specs from 1967, since I thought the same 9" spindle & drums goes back to 1962 (or 1960?). ScareBird also has a disk conversion for 9" drums so see what years they spec.
