Are all a body ball joints screw ins?

I would still tack it.

I do not have a welder at my disposal and these things are in there GOOD. I am comfortable with them.

because it is possible that when u pressed the old ball joints out, the ball joint took the brunt of the damage/metal deformation, not the control arm
