Are door switches painted or not?

Anyone have a survivor Dart/Demon/Duster that can say for sure if these door switches are painted, or not? Thanks

They weren't on my 71 Duster.

No, they were not painted. After the paint was applayed they mounted the switch with the middle section loose. After that they just closed the door and it got adjusted right at once. How cool is that?

I have never seen one painted from the factory.

Negative Ghostrider,...Replaced a few back in the day, In fact paint will hinder the action of the plunger if its to thick.
