Are "fartcans" being replaced by "noisecans"?

Anybody notice how mufflers are getting noisier? We have some youngsters driving around revving their engines until they backfire through the muffler. A lot of the performance car mufflers are noisier as well. The Mustang guys go out in a group and all you hear is BBbrrrapp! Maybe i'm just getting old and grumpy. lol.

I have noticed that a Challenger SXT sounds just like a Hyundai when they both have fartcans

Yep and they sound like crap. (my old age showing) Or how about the Subaru WRX's that sound like they are firing 2 cylinders at once with a 4 cylinder. The V twin Kawasaki in my John Deere sounds better. Oh and I found out out has Hemi heads.

It is a U.S. company too. So there's that. It would not pass our noise bylaws here, (my car barely does). My car sounds similar to a newer Dodge Ram hemi.
