Are the big block and small block water neck housings interchangeable?

I am looking into a water pump spacer with a provision for a water temp sending unit boss.
I have a big block and small block engine and I was wondering if the water neck bolt spacing is the same.

Yes to a point depending on year. Small block changed in the 80's with a smaller housing.
Aftermarket intakes (small block) have dual pattern.
What you posted,the spacer should work fine with the Big Block thermostat housing.

Just making sure... It should fit my Edelbrock super victor EFI manifold for my small block too?
