I got a pile of carburetors in a package deal and I don't need the majority of them. I am not sure if they are salvageable and I don't want to try and sell scrap metal as "parts"
Seems like they were left outside to fend for themselves against the elements and some parts move (choke plate moves freely) while other parts are frozen (throttle blades appear to not want to move) I have not tried to unstick or tear apart any carb.
If these are salvageable I'll offer them up for cheap ($10 each?) in a separate post and if not I'll just bite the bullet and see what I do with them
Thank you for any insight or advice you can give

If you can get quality kits for them, I'd say give it a try.

Hit the throttle shaft with some Penetrating Oil for a few days, they can be unstuck.

Otherwise maybe pop the lid off and have a look. If it's not like the bottom of the sea inside it should be okay to rebuild.

UREMCO at times offers to purchase rebuildable carburetors . I believe the rebuild for Summit . They offered to buy a AFB from me. Not for a lot after shipping but better than trashing it.
