ARP main stud oil pan interference

First, I would ask this question in the smallblock forum. I assume you are referring to a small block.
Next, ARP has known about this problem for YEARS, and just don't give a crap about fixing it.
Most guys use a shorter nut and shorten the stud.
 
Are you talking about oil PUMP or oil PAN interference ? Never had an issue with pan clearance .

Some just use the factory bolt or a better grade bolt. Kim
 
Thanks for the response. I’ve checked the main studs on the correct OEM pan and I’m good.
