As if the job isn’t bad enough. The parts stores give us the wrong parts.

In the middle of changing my 3/4 ton dodge’s rear disks, rotors, and calipers and I knew the emergency brakes needed work. So I took all week gathering up the parts for this job. And a two piece tailpipe and resonator for the exhaust. Also bought two front shocks but that’s another project for another week. So I’m hard at it and have one side apart and these are the emergency brakes they said it takes. So it’s all apart and I’m here with no vehicle. Lucky they offered to drop them off. Lol

Technically, that is a Parking brake.
If you think it would help a 3/4 ton truck in an emergency, prepare yourself for disappointment.

I ordered KYB shocks for wife's Honda. One made in Japan one Mexico. Got one more and was Japan.
Returned the Taco.

Parts are being manufactured to wrong specs too. Had a Nissan Altima in our shop that we had to replace the rear suspension subframe, and complete right rear suspension. We ordered a part that mounts the knuckle to the subframe . It was 1/4" ( approximately) too short. Pissed us off and set us back a couple of days figuring that out. We figured, we'll, everything IS new. Maybe frame issues ( meaning body structure) nope. Took measurements and found this mount to be too damn short... now we have to double check new parts!!

KYBs?
You should return ALL of them.
Stock daily driver. They are also the same company that makes lots of OEM.
It was better of the 3 lower cost options.
Not like she is Fast And The Furious back and forth to work 3 miles each way.
To put miles on it trips to visit out of them friends a tank of fuel last a month.
Last month she used 8 gallons as we never road tripped it. So,
Gabriel, Monroe or KYB IT WAS!
