Assembly time

We finally made it to assembly day for the our engine. Its a 1971 383 intended for a 72 Charger that will be doing DD duty for my son. I know its not an A body....but things are usually pretty quiet over at the B body site.

Yes, I can't complain about the wife....she has put up with this stuff for 22 years now. :cheers:

its the easiest room in the house to keep clean. Everyone has been banned from using it

ring gaps set, cam in and checked, all pistons found a home. starting to look like an engine again.

Thanks Joe. We are having fun with it so far. The car body still needs some work. Interior is mint....and we have sandblasted and used POR15 on 80% of the bottom of the car. Here is a pic as it sits.
