[WANTED] Auto shifter linkage

I'm converting 68 B'cuda from auto column shift to console shift. I need the linkage that bolts to the transmission up to the vertical shaft going into cabin.

There is a bracket that bolts to the trans that captures the bottom of that rod.
Its a easy piece to make from steel and even easier to make from aluminum.
The original had a nylon bushing in it but that isn't absolutely needed. You do want to prevent a metal to metal noise there. All you really need to do is drill a hole for the bushing and instead cover a small portion of the drop rod with 1/2 inch neoprene hose.
Honestly... a little looseness can be better than a tight fit there if/when the left motor support breaks.

These were made in a few different sizes so I cant guarantee the one pictured will be exact for your car. Aint gotta be perfect anyway...




If you need the final piece of linkage from that rod to the lever on the trans...
I cant help with that.

There was one of those brackets for the 904 trans and one for the 727. We would need to know which you wre using.
