I purchased this setup over two years ago, unassembled so I have a couple questions: I believe I have the Green bearing setup as both sides look identical (no adjuster) and there's an "O" ring seal on the outer bearing keeper. I have assembled third member, axles, brake assemblies and housing. I'm assuming assembly is pretty straightforward, axles simply slide in w/no adjustments needed (so simple even a caveman can do it ) ? Thanks for any input - also have 3/4 spring relocation kit, perches moved - what's the issue with the front spring hangers (I recall an issue with the bolts and haven't gotten that far yet ) ? Hope to have all installed today.

Axle installation with Green bearings is very straightforward. I've got some pics on my site, if necessary.

The front spring hangers have a nut welded to one side that will interfere with the frame and prevent you from even installing them. I used a cutoff wheel and simply cut a small hole in the frame rail for the nut to fit into. There are other solutions as well.

Thanks - I've visited your site - it's awesome and I hope it's up for years as it's a great resource. I'm actually looking at a 72 Duster this week (already have a 440 and trans ) When my Dart's done, I think I'll be doing a BB Duster (can't let all these cool tools sit around) I also found a big block A body K-frame with lower control arms and strut rods for 50 bucks - that about sealed the deal ! Thanks again and i may be in touch !
