Anyone have a source for a '68/69/70 Dart frame mount axle bump stop, part #2834929?.. or can advise what you're using for a replacement on the A bodies?

It's smaller than the B body stuff, as many of you know. Only 4" c/c on the mounting bolts and the rubber is only 2" long vs a B body that is 4.5" c/c and rubbers are 2 7/8" long.

The bump stop rubbers slide off the bracket. Get a new B body one and trim it to the size you want and slide it back on.

Yes I know how they work and that was a plan. Metal is toast though, so I'd have to make a pattern and cut out new ones from sheet stock. Just looking to see if there is a known new source considering all the A bodies out there strange there isn't. Even my friend Richard O'Shields isn't producing them..

Are those mounting holes 4" center to center ?? as those bumpers are a different shape (they're similar to B body style). By the parts books a '70 should have the same pt#/shaped bumpers as a '68 and '69 Dart and mine shown above are OE for '69.

I will send measurements shortly. The way you see this the way they came out of a 70’ Dart.

Great! I have a pair coming via turtle, from NC, it seems (10 days to get from NC to New Jersey so far). Between those and yours I can pick the best pair of mounting straps and rubbers. I'll PM you shortly. THanks!
