Can anyone tell me how much of the spline on the axle engauges with the carrier? I had my rear shortened and I have stock A body length Moser axles. There is quite a bit of meat on the splines just wondering how much actually engauges with the rear?

Assuming the axle shafts are the correct length and are inserted all the way with the correct end play, the contact area will be determined by the width of the side gear. It's narrower than the splines on the axle shaft.
