B-body question here! GTX vs. Coronet hoods

Hey sorry for the B-body question but I'm not a member of that forum (and I don't own a b-body!)

My friend is a painter fixing a car for a friend - a 69 GTX. His hood is damaged and wants to go to the twin scoop style so he needs a donor hood.

Question is - will a flat hood from a 68 Coronet work with a 69 gtx? Obviously it won't have the right scoops, but will bolt in and line up with the cowl/fenders/grille?
