after looking at my factory service manual, it seems that the only things that are different with the B-body and A-body console shifters were the linkage and possibly the height of the mounting brackets. Is it safe to say that with the correct A-body linkage, I could use a B-body console shifter? I will not be using a stock console, just the stock shifter. Thanks.
