B&M/Hurst shifter brackets?

hi all....are the b&m and hurst promatic 2 shifter brackets and lever on the trans the same. also are the cables the same. have used hurst promatic for years now but have been offered a b&m pro stick and the guy is saying brackets cable and lever are different.

I wouldn't risk it. You could compare by taking a look at the installation sheet, and maybe surf google for pictures.

yeah...hear what ya sayin. did a search for images and they look to be the same, but it is forward pattern and my vb is reverse pattern. do i need a different gate or just the indicater bit

yes...you will need to change the gate..
