b&m mega shifter

Can i hook a b&m mega shifter up to my 73 3 speed torque automatic transmission? I eventually want to put a 340 engine in my car or a 360. He said its better than putting a manual trans, because it saves me problems in the long run.
 
yes...as long as you have the correct torque flite bracket that mounts on the trans pans...and the bracket that goes on the gear selector on the trans..

also...unless you are using a manual valve body you will need kickdown linkage/throttle pressure linkage hooked up ...other wise you will burn up the clutch pac in the trafns..

How hard is it to do this? Ie installing these necessary things?
 
hard to do...No..

necessary...yes

are you buying the shifter new?...it will have the instructions and parts needed
