Go back over everything else like you have never seen the car and right the wrong or swap out the carb for a known working one. Bug a buddy for his carb.

First off why do you supsect the carb. Symtoms brother symtoms. carb can malfunction in a number of ways. 99% are repairable. Really no such thing as bad carb. Maybe a bad citcuit or pump, plus an aray of other problem. Thats like saying I have a bad engine because it misfires. Or my battery needs a new car. :scratch:
