BAD GUY ALERT - Need help please

Not griping about the deal I made - The car is fine. The problem is the guy owes me the original 340 engine/trans and a bunch of spare parts. It took a little while to get the car sent up here, and then shortly after I had made arrangements with a company to pick up the drivetrain and ship it, the seller suddenly got amnesia about finishing our deal up. He won't answer my calls or emails. He has 339 posts on here. His name is;

This stinks. I just found this thread.

I paypal'd this guy $28.95 for (2) Dart Emblems, and (2) Swinger Emblems shipped with (2) Day service on 2/29/08.

I still have not recieved the Emblems, have not recieved a notification that he recieved my paypal....and cannot get him to respond.

I sent him another PM and notified him that I will be nice and give him 72 hours to respond with an excuse or else I will take legal action :evil3:.

I will not deal with this person ever again.

440 wip I can offer you a never taken apart standard bore short block and a pair of 74 heads at my cost $600 I can also provide you with a nicely rebuilt 727 at less than cost .trans is top notch, deep pan,turbo action 3500 converter etc. the like new shifter it has, $400 the trans code is pk3898866 think its a later model year but do not know,engine is 4-16 69 side rail is ob.......... throw in a new b&m shifter with cable and conduit wrapped cable. Thats $1000 but I live in s fla and I hate hearing what happened to you. I dont need the 340 as im a 400 kinda guy so just letting you know there are decent ,honest folks left in this world, problen is the shipping costs. Just trying to make you feel better and my words gold ,dontake care

$1000 for everything that is and yes engine rotates and I will guarantee the trans is is new,3500 converter, and also guarantee the 340 is a rebuilder, heck, this thing has never been apart and may just need top end installed for all I know. take care keep the faith, there are still good people in this world but its not newsworthy.any of you other guys pay more haha, take care

I have 2 questions for you. Why would you buy the car sight unseen? Also do you have any proof that the engine went with the car? I only ask this because I know Brian. I haven't talked to him in a very long time but last I knew he was selling the 340 engine seperate from the car. After a mutual friend of ours pointed this post out to me I went to some of the other forum sites as well as this site, brain posts in and I could find none where he was selling the car and motor in the same deal. If the motor was included in the deal why not have it shipped with the car? Since you recieved the car I would think he was willing to make good on the deal but maybe you misunderstood the motor was sold seperately? Also for anyone who maybe wondering the car did come with the original 318. The 340 was an extra motor he was planning on rebuilding to put into the car.

You have a link to the original post? If I remember correctly the 318 that sold with the car was the original numbers matching engine. And the reason why I think that is because I remember his goal was to all ways build it up like a 340 car should have been. I know his car was missing a lot of the standard features a 340 car would have had.
