Is a 10ga wire big enough for a ballast resistor bypass? Thank you drive through.
 
It’s what I use, fits nicely in the back of the ballast resistor for the “stock” look.

IMHO...

While I appreciate your keeping it stock looking that mod could present an issue to someone down the road.
This is a good time to suggest making an addendum to the owners manual . I plan on someone inheriting my Barracuda and I am keeping track of all of the modifications for future repair procedures.

I used a 12AWG Bare Copper. 11 Years no issue All hidden makes me smile every time I open the Hood!

Same as my Pertronix III, You are hard pressed to notice it is not a stock ignition!
 
It is only a short piece of wire [ 3" ] so it's wire gauge in terms of voltage drop is less of an issue compared to a 3ft length of wire. Use what you have lying around....
