Just checked out bandit resins they have a 71 scamp rebody, 70 swinger rebody, 65 valiant rebody, and a 69 notchback barracuda rebody. These require certain kits for the running gear and other parts, but are an option to mass produced kits that dont make these bodystyles. Id love to do a cuda notchback but at $40 for a body shell, valance, and windows plus the MPC 69 cuda kit for the other parts its just too cost prohibitive for me.

What would be cool since the bandit resins coupe is a 69, would be to find a resin cast version of a ball stud Hemi, and build a replica of the blue 69 cuda notch test mule that had the ball stud Hemi engine in it.

I can get a 67 hood and grilles from the old MPC release although used, through ebay, and shave the side markers on the body, i wonder how hard it would be to smooth out the nose and mod to fit a 67 hood and grilles to it.

I am still concidering building one of my 67.

That is pretry cool what this bandit resin place has.

40 bucks is kinda high but it's mostly sticker shock. Really, for what hobby lobby wants for models these days .....its all just another expensive hobby that is still pretty cool

      Hi Ranigirl,

Just go online and print out the 40% off hobby lobby discount coupon. They have em every week. Makes plastic models from there cheaper. I just bought thr petty dart for i dunno like $12 not too long ago. I just need to finish it up when i get time.

Anyone ever see a 73-76 Duster? I'm really wanting to make a kit of one of these.

Old MPC 73-76 duster kits. To my knowledge they have not reissued these kits, so you have to hunt for an original kit.
