Hello,

Need a link or pictures to the way the Harmonic balancer, Generator with brackets and power steering with brackets goes back on my motor 1965 (273).

Thanx to all and Happy Turkey Day!

These are from my '65 Valiant Wagon - 273 with PS - Pictures are: Alternator, PS, harmonic balancer (from top - passenger side), harmonic balancer (from bottom, driver side). Let me know if you need a different angle or anything.

Great photos. I should add that there are many variations. 64DartGTinAZ's car must have been a factory AC car since the 2 outer grooves on the crank pulley were for the factory RV2 compressor. My 65 has 2 grooves on the steel crank pulley (non-AC), plus an add-on 1-groove aluminum pulley inserted in it for add-on AC (Tecumseh compressor, same bolt pattern as York).

For 65, I think you must use the early TRW power steering pump shown. It only fits the early cast-iron water pump. The later Federal (or "Chrysler") pump will not fit, even though it looks similar.

What diagram do you need? Wiring or are you talking about belt layout? A photo of my 65 273 belts. I had to get creative since I switched to the later aluminum water pump, which caused many problems. I had to use the later Federal power steering pump since no TRW brackets for that wp. My ps & wp run off the aluminum add-on pulley that ran the after-market AC compressor.

Still haven't worked out how I will install a Sanden AC compressor. I will probably need to run it off the alternator belt, since the 1st crank pulley groove is too far in to access now.
