Battery tray question, does anyone make a plastic unit?

worried about battery acid? Use vent hoses so it trips to the floor

I put a piece of rubber mat between the battery and the tray on mine.

That would be a great idea. 3d printing?
Except the battery hold down mounts to the battery tray. So deal with that somehow. Then tray needs to support the battery in a collision without breaking, or the hold down work around is now a failure With the battery coming loose.

and yes lots of people don’t use a hold down.

New 3d idea, make it a plastic insert into the tray with a nipple on the drain to go through the opening of the inner fender that can attach a rubber hose down closer to the ground or use an acid free battery because I have seen battery cases get damaged in collisions.

Late 50’s Chrysler products came with those from the factory. They won’t for 60’s cars.
