I am waiting for Dr Diff, but if I can get sooner- great! I have a 68 Dart 4 door /6 car, going to BBP, need axles, hit me up if you have something that will bolt in? Also, I am considering gettting an 8 1/4 and paying for shipping if someone has something bolt in.

Here's 1 in California

Which axle's do you need? The conversion axles for the original SBP 7 1/4 to convert to the LBP, or the big bolt pattern axles for the later year 7 1/4 rear that came with big bolt pattern?

I need a conversion- honestly, this is my first time working with a 7 1/4. I have always went big because I put BBs in my cars- I don't typically leave a /6 in them LOL. So I am a bit of a newb- so from what I have read, I need conversion axles because the later 7 1/4 BBP doesn't just bolt in, correct?

If you have the early 7 1/4 with small bolt pattern axles, then yes, you need the conversion axles. The later stock big bolt pattern axles, will not fit the early 7 1/4 housing. You will also either need to get the BBP drums from Dr. Diff, or redrill your drums for the BBP.
EDIT: Another option is to redrill the early axle flange (and drum) for the BBP. A good machine shop can do this. Some will tell you not to do this, but I have done many SBP axles and front hubs with no problems. I have a drill fixture so I can do my own in a drill press.
If you have a complete late model (BBP) 7 1/4 rear for an "A" body it will bolt right in your car. Might have to change the brake hose (not sure).

I wish I could just find any bolt in rearend on this island, honestly, wouldn't care if it was a 7 1/4 or not just as long as it is BBP and the tires and rims fit.

I’ll be in the same situation soon. Doing a front disc brake conversation (from stock 4 wheel drum). Will have BBP up front and SBP rears unless I use a adapter or figure out the bolt on after market.

@RAT ROD AL had a few B body 8 3/4 housings and axles a while back. Those are practically a bolt in, to Dusters, Demons and Sports. You should move the spring perches in a half inch on each side, but you can get away with not doing it. Something to think about.

I have found them to be crazy expensive here, more than I paid for the car quite often LOL. But if you know a cheap place to get them....

It was 418 bucks shipped to Hawaii for me- totally worth it.

As much as it cost to ship me and my wife to Hawaii in 2003.....it don't appear that it's much cheaper to ship big heavy car parts! It's been a long time, but I saw 2 or 3 B bodies sitting in a parking garage in Honolulu. They weren't drivers either! I bet they're gone by now though. :(
