I was getting ready to put my motor and trans together today and I noticed that the bellhousing that was on my trans which is a slant six bell housing which is why I was changing it in the first place had the clutch fork pivot that screws into the bellhousing. The Bellhousing I have for the v8 has a two bolt style and its missing.

I checked the number which is 3743859 and it came back as a 74 E body bellhousing which uses the 10 7/8" clutch fork Can I order the pivot and use my newer fork 12 1/2 " or do I have to run the older fork as well? And will the older fork work with my trucks zbar and linkages?

If you pick up the phone and call Brewers they can tell you for sure.

Hey that don't look like the rusty guy I know
