Bellhousing patterns?

I heard yesterday that there is a difference between 318 and 340/360 Bellhousing bolt patterns. Assure same year and both for A Bodies.
What is the skinny?

Bell housing bolt pattern is the same. Engine balance is different on the 360 so it requires a different flywheel, torque convertor or flex plate depending on what tranny you are using.

What OKcarcollector said. There was only 1 small block LA/magnum bellhousing pattern no matter what size the engine is

3.9 v6 273/318/340/360 and 5.2/5.9 share the same bellhousing, but like mentioned torque converter weights are used on 360
