Bench to Bucket Question

I've heard, and even spoken to other A body people and they say that bucket seats from a first generation neon will swap into a bench a body. Has anyone else had experience with this? I've searched for hours, and it seems as though there is more fabrication involved than what I am capable of. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Any seat other than stock will require some modifying to mount it to the floor.
Even the stock buckets require drilling holes and reinforcing plates added to the floor pan. 4 rubber plugs for those bench seat holes too.
