Ok so I removed some pinstriping w/ my heat gun and finger nail and it peeled off pretty good. There's just some residual adhesive I'd like to get off the paint still. Anyone know a good remover that wont effect paint?

Thanks!

3m Adhesive remover. Comes in a white and red metal can.

Naptha/lighter fluid. Use it all the time at work. It works with urethanes.

Acrylic Enamel thinner works pretty good, not lacquer thinner, acrylic enamel.

looks like a joke, but I use olive oil.. the one I use in my food :D

I remove the stickr or something that let adhesive glue.. than, I use jus a very small part of olive oil, a small drop .. than I push it all over the addesive.. and it starts coming out...

don't know if it would work on adhesive but we used diesel fuel to remove overspray when I worked at Ziebart decades ago, little diesel, lot of water and a bit of wax?

Rapid Remover. (same people that make Rapid Tac)

You can get it from any sign supply store. It takes about 30 seconds for it to work. It doesnt harm metal or fiberglass etc.

Works very well, I use it all the time to remove decals and stripes, before I install new ones.

Holy crap! Thanks for the responses....I'm going to try either the 3M or Rapid Remover. Whatever I can find first...if I cant find either one, I'll try one of the 'home brewed' remedies...

Thanks guys!
