Has anyone tested underhood 5/16" fuel filters for the best flow-I'm talking worm clamp style-nothing fancy but very effective(i.e. Keeping it simple) Reason I ask is because I have one of those glass/thread together jobs and do NOT like the fire risk and don't think they do that great of a filtering job. Were MOPAR o.e.m. ones any good?

The 5/16 line can feed over 400 hp.
Is that OK for ya?!?!

I HAD TWO OF THOSE GLASS FILTERS ON A 800CFM EDELBROCK CARB, THAT I DRILLED AND TAPPED TO MAKE A DUAL FEED OUT OF. THEN WENT TO A 800 CFM HOLLEY. I HAD A FILTER ON EACH 3/8 LINE GONG INTO THE DUAL FEEDS , THE 406 SBC WOULOD RUN OUT OF GAS , EVEN W/ 2 OF THEM, THEY ARE JUNK IN MY BOOK/ FOR PERFORMANCE !
