What would be a good strong rubber mount for big block to hot rod frame.
That's what I was thinkingFor my 66 Dart, I cheated and just bought some weld-on bushings and just attached them to some stock big block engine mounts
Just curious, is there any frame left up front? What would be a good strong rubber mount for big block to hot rod frame
Every time I go to a bigger motor I seem to get it pushed further into the cab and lower to the ground I have lots of room up front. 15" crank pulley to radiator.Just curious, is there any frame left up front?
I guess those make good strong motor mounts for big blocks They look pretty cleanFor my 66 Dart, I cheated and just bought some weld-on bushings and just attached them to some stock big block engine mounts.

Granted, the bushing is poly and not rubber, but you said it's a hotrod, didn't you? Here are a couple photos of what I did for ideas. You could easily make something similar with stock biscuit or spool mounts though. You just gotta get creative, grab some metal, and get busy.
