I'm going to change the fuel filter on the '65 cuda this week. It has a white plastic one on it now. My Fury has a metal one. Which type do you guys reccommend? The 'cuda has a 273 with a 4bbl eddy.
Metal is best from all stand points except for a on the spot inspection of the element itself. I change them once a year regauardless like oil @ 3,000, underwear @ least once a day, brush teeth twice at a min....LOL you get the idea.
The white plastics are fine as well on the street. But a fire melts them fast.
Thank you for the info, Rumblefish, although I think it might have been a little more info than I asked for I agree that changing them once a year is a good idea, regardless of how few miles are put on the car.
yea i would have to agree that that was absolutely hilarious but yet utterly disturbing for me to have read.. but i agree the metal one is the way to go.
