I'm going to change the fuel filter on the '65 cuda this week. It has a white plastic one on it now. My Fury has a metal one. Which type do you guys reccommend? The 'cuda has a 273 with a 4bbl eddy.

Metal is best from all stand points except for a on the spot inspection of the element itself. I change them once a year regauardless like oil @ 3,000, underwear @ least once a day, brush teeth twice at a min....LOL you get the idea.

The white plastics are fine as well on the street. But a fire melts them fast.

Thank you for the info, Rumblefish, although I think it might have been a little more info than I asked for :) I agree that changing them once a year is a good idea, regardless of how few miles are put on the car.

yea i would have to agree that that was absolutely hilarious but yet utterly disturbing for me to have read.. but i agree the metal one is the way to go.

LOL, sorry to paint pictures. Odd sense off humor once in awhile. If you giggled at it, then my target is hit.
