I have a K member for a A body big block conversion for sale.Direct connection unit with spool mounts. Give me a price. buyer pays shipping

price reduced $275 plus shipping or best offer

I just shipped a K-member from California to Texas, $52 FedEx...This k-member was special in several ways that made it heavier. Total package was about 40-1/2 lbs...

Maybe... I had to cut it apart to straighten it and added some support to the inside as well as adding the Firm Feel gussets (next time I'll just make my own).

I hate to disagree, but that looks like a stock 73-up small block unit. Close up pictures of the saddles can confirm that. I've been building them longer than Chrysler was selling them...

Here are 2 additional photos to try and clarify any misconceptions about this part.
According to http://www.engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsType/K-Frames.html it is an a-body big block spool mount k frame because the measurement inside the perches measures 3 3/4 inches across.
Furthermore, I know this for a fact because this k member was in a duster with a 440 before.

Ok, those are better pictures. I could not see the offset in the other pictures and they looked unmodified. This IS a Direct Connection k-member. It does not appear to be a home-built one, but one from DC (there are some tell-tale signs).

:cheers:Ok I'm taking it. This should help me out in my 1971 Scamp to 440 conversion. Rather go this route than play with mounts. This along with the Try Y's should be a good start.
Hopefully see you by the end of the month!

Hey guys just a question. This K frame is based on what year? I'm just wondering about aftermatket connections for the front end to bring the handling up a bit as well as compensate for the additional weight of the 440 going into the 71 Scamp.

The DC k-member was a modified 73-76 small block k-member. Sway bars from early (67-72) can be used as well as late (73-76). Same with early and late steering linkage/gears (68-72 on the early idler arm).
