I am restoring a big block 1969 Cuda. I was wondering if anyone could tell the difference between the throttle cable for a big block and small block. I think I have a small block cable on the car an it appears too long. Is the big block one shorter and by how much if it is?

Thanks

I really can`t help, but I had a 340 throttle cable in my basket case 68 form S fastback. I went to a local junk yard and found a late model about the same length , and used an aftermarket kick down, w/ a few stock pieces to work on my throttle body . A little rigging will go a long way.

If I remember correctly, I had to buy a longer throttle cable from bouchilon performance when I went from a SB to a BB.

The big block is shorter, and the distance between the end that attaches to the carb and the ferrule for the clamp is where the real difference is.
