I have a 67 440 going into a Dart. It had power steering and a/c. I am going with out both and am looking for a single water pump pulley and crank pulley. However the problem I am having is that in order to do this it requires a different alternator bracket. Everyone I see online for sale tell you that you need a 68 and over water pump. What is the difference of the 67 water pump to all others? Does anyone have one they are not using?

basicly the big blocks in the late 60s. had 2 water pumps. the A / C pump had 6 blades and was spun 1.4 ratio. the non- A / C pump, spun at .95 ratio 10 blades. per my chrysler factory service manual 1967 coronet / dart. but back in the day most part houses just gave one that was 8 blades. get a thin S.S. plate and rivet it to the blades, will get much more water.

The location of the bolt hole near the thermostat is different. I don't have pics of the difference, but do have both styles here and might be able to get pics between now and the weekend.
