black window trim

What do you guys think of the chrome window trim being black? I've polished one section of my back window trim and its no easy task. I was thinking about painting them black so them blend in with the window gasket rather than stick out.

I would not paint it, plus, the road debris and bugs would eventually chip the paint off and it would look like crap. I would spend the extra time and polish it and it will look great!

I say do what you want as it it your car. I am going to do the same as I like the blackout treatment as well, just powdercoat it and you will never have to worry about the paint chipping. I enclosed a pic of a dart with this done.

Its stainless steel so paint wont stay on it.

black.. i love it.. thars what im going to do to my trim,door handles and probably a few other things..
