I have a 65 Dart slant 6. I want to make sure the gauge is either correct or is it failing. I installed the 180 degree thermostat and was wondering if anyone could tell me what the temperature range should or could be say at the waterpump or any other place where I can get an accurate temperature. With a 180 degree thermostat how hot could the block or such get in a range so I know I'm not running too hot and that there might be a different issue going on?
