Hey guys, looking for anyone who has experience with these to answer some questions....

what style timing cover comes on these things? Oil Pan?

Do I need to get a special flexplate to hook to a 727?

any other issues?

anyone setup theirs w/ a serpentine system?

thanks.

I have the one with the Eddy heads.

It has the standard aluminum 360 timing cover.

You need a weighted 360 converter, or flexplate.

Rear* sump, 6qt. pan.

I'm using stock pulleys, no issues with the motor at all. I'm at the 1500 mile mark.

It was dynoed at 467 HP, 500 torque. I'm satisfied with it.

I am going to swap the flexplate with a weighted B&M one I purchased. I'm going to switch back to a neutral balanced converter I had in my 340. I don't like the stock 360 flexplates.

Hope that helps.

I thought the blue print engines used the rear sump 6 quart Kevco oil pans?
