Has anyone here had any experience with this brand of steel braided hose? A buddy of mine gave me some and it looks like really nice stuff. It's super light and flexible. Looks like they use it a lot on "cup" cars.
All of the fittings that I see are crimped on. My big question is if you can use standard style AN fittings such as Russel or Earls etc.

Thanks..............Ted

......... can use standard ...

There are all kinds of different spec hoses. If you cannot find a "hard" spec/ part number for this hose, and some sort of specific interchange listing that SHOWS that it works with Russel (or something else) then I would stick with what the manufacturer designed for that hose.

If that line is ProGold it is used on CUP cars, you CAN NOT use the cheapo earls or russel hose ends. There are screw together ends for the line. Crimps are used a lot because it's easier and permanent.

The line uses an olive/ferrule to lock in similar to what is used on teflon braided line. Go to the BMRS site and look up the line and ends.

I've used quite a bit BMRS line and it is VERY nice to work with.
