body/painter questions

Let me start by saying i know nothing about autobody and paint that being said i had a bunch of stuff blasted and "215" the body guy could stress enuff how expensive the "215" is he said it was great stuff but you pay for it my question is how expensive is it and how great is it thanks guys!

First of all - WHAT is it? Epoxy primer maybe? Brand name?

You mean POR 215? Is that rustproofing?

I think the question is, what is it? Never heard of 215, you'll have to ask him what he's talking about.

my guess is 215 is the primer he used. Either an etch or an epoxy. Ask him and let us know.

Alright guys this is what i was told "215 is made by DuPont and its a urethane based primer, no build up(dont know what that is exactly) its goldish in color and its for direct metal contact theres some type of acid in it that bites into the steel Im gonna google it Thats what i know for now

Its a self etching primer.

well i googled it and came up with nothing im going into the shop to pick up a rattle can for some misc. parts (nuts and bolts) I'll see what it says maybe a website or something
