Body removal from chassis

What would happen if you bought a car from the US that has been modified, or had a 800 up engine in the stock chassie?

How do they know how much HP your engine makes? How often do they test / check, you could build what you want from a stock looking perspective and swap out the engine to a stock engine for testing etc.

You need to move to a non socialist / progressive country. What's next they take your guns, oh wait they already did that.

I glad I'm in my late 50s, I don't have too many years left to have to deal with this BS here in the US when it comes here.
They require dyno sheet, also a leak down check as people where doing just that stroking their engines.
Theres no reason once registered to be rechecked unless the police put a defect notice on your car if they deem its unroadworthy or the cop doesnt like you after you did a burnout

The internet.....you gotta love it.

The unibody might or might not have saved cost, but it hardly was a 'cheap trick' applied by Mopar. It was done because the unibody construction is stronger and stiffer for a given weight. Those a good things in a car. If you don't believe me, look at every modern car made - they are all unibody designs.

Frames are superior in trucks, mostly. We are not talking trucks here.

Have you ever seen those awesome drag pics where a car is taking off with the right front wheel 6 inches off the ground and the left front wheel 30 inches off the ground? Those are your full frame cars, twisting like crazy. Junk.
