Bolt size on a 400

I am looking for the bolts that hold the piece over the rear main cap. I tried using both a 7/16" socket which was too big, and a 3/8" socket that was too small. Is it a size in between, or a different fastener all together?

You were close. It's a 3/8 12 point socket.
