Howdy I was wondering if anyone knew any good books on mopar stuff. I honestly don't know that much about them and seeing as I own it's about time I figure out how she works. I bought a book from borders that was How to build high performance chrysler engines by frank adkins. It's a pretty decent book but dose anyone know of any others that can help? I've built chevy motors all my life and I know all of the end and outs of them and I'd really like to do the same with these motors. I have a 1972 4 door dodge dart that has had a little body damage but it's all cosmetic damage, the interior is flawless like it rolled off the line today. I'll get picture of it up as soon as I have a chance too. But it has a 318 and a 3 speed...don't know what it's called so thats all I know. I'd like to put something bigger into it. I'd like to keep it a small block to keep costs down sence i'm building 1 other car with a 502 and the chevelle i'm trying to get will proably get a 454. So in other words the dart will be the pretty one...not the fast one. What I think I'd like to do is maybe keep the 318 and putting in a chrysler 4 speed tranny or a chevy 700r4. But on the other hand I'd really like to bump up to a 340 or 360 so she'd have some balls to her. I'd be looking for about 350HP on the ground I think that would keep me happy enough when I take it cruseing when I'm done with it and most of all for it to be pump gas friendly without having to add the lead to the gas(or no lead stuff...you guys know what i'm talking about)....whoa ok I just wrote a book, feel free to give your opinons cause I need just about all the help I can get right now. Thanks again, Randy
