Back in the late 70's installed a Borg Warner electron ignition retrofit in my 1966 Barracuda. It recently failed and I need the optical trigger unit that replaces the points. The other part of the unit looks like a 5 pin Mopar ignition box however it uses a single ballast resistor. I think it is different however, as the extra connection powers the LED transmitter in the trigger unit.

Doing web searches has been fruitless. You all are my last help, next would be to buy a Pretronix setup or other electronic conversion.

My "take" on ignition is that "you need something that you can fix on the side of the road."

This is why I used to run factory Mopar ECU, and now run a GM HEI module with factory Mopar dist. I can FIX it, and I can buy all the parts at any parts store

So if you stick with something (like Pertronix) that isn't a stocking part in the stores, ya better buy two.
