Borgeson PS box : is it needed to upgrade the PS pump?

Hi guys,

I heard that a stock power steering pump won't give the needed pressure to a Borgeson Box in order to work properly. What do you think about that? Did some of you tryed and what are your feedbacks?

That is a link to an article by Steve Dulcich where he installs the Borgeson into a mopar. He did no upgrade to the stock power steering pump.

I used the stock pump, and it works just great.

On my setup I went from a Federal pump to a Saginaw type pump, mainly so I could use the pre-made Borgeson hose-kit that I had also ordered.

There have been hissing issues with using stock pressure pumps. I have been recommending the 1350psi pump as per borgeson.
