Boss Hog Torque converter?

just purchased a Boss hog street bandit 2800-3200 stall 11inch converter for my 408 making 575ft/lbs. has anyone heard anything RECENTLY about boss hog? I know they had a bad rep previously. Just needed something for break in period and something quick to arrive so I can get my duster back on the road before the season ends. Will be ordering a custom converter from PTC eventually. Might be a winter project for me. T

I had one on a 383 superstock car....nothing extreme.
It had been refreshed at the factory because someone else ran it on a Challenger and said it wasnt right. I did NOT like it.

Replaced it with a Super Street Fighter....never looked back. Ill try and find the model # and see if its really the same as yours.
