Brainstormin' 440 vs 5.9 ...

Well, didn’t you hit nitrous to get that mile per hour?? And did you hit the nitrous on the Dino?
Yes. The nitrous was on. And yes I have chassis dyno data with nitrous. It was activated very late in the run on that pass and I would say had little influence because my controller was not working how it should have been. Also, as slowly as I had to roll in to the throttle in first gear, to save the 8-1/4 peg leg diff I’d say it’s a wash. It’s all bench racing anyway really.

Nitrous chassis dyno hit.

Answer ??? Anyone ???
So the Dyno says gross hp of 500 hp and Wallace says gross hp of 375, obviously Wallace is wrong. If you took his engine out and ran it on any reasonable dyno as is no way it will only dyno around 375 hp.

Let's say the Wallace is generally in the ballpark there must be circumstance where it ain't, Just mph and peak power to weight can't cover all bases and be more accurate than measuring the actual torque @ rpm physically from the engine.

Either Joe is so bad at tuning his engine and it only makes 375 hp now or Wallace can be wrong. I forget who said it but it seems to me Wallace tells you more like the minimum needed power than the actual.

I disagree with everything in this post. Merry Christmas my friend !!

There is not enough data here or verification done yet to be able to determine anything. Happy Holidays!
