A little off, It seems like it made 356 RWHPAnd for a comparison the roadkill crop duster with a warmed up rv440 (cam, intake, carb, headers, stock stealth heads) made 330ish and went 12.39 at 113mph. In a duster with caltracs and slicks.

Yes Sir, they were.Ah, got it. I was trying to remember and should have looked it up instead of going off memory. The times were correct though right?
I'll just sit back and see where this ends up. This is making me dizzy.I am as clueless as the rest of you. It had a smok'd transmission so while I did manage to go around a couple of blocks, I wasn't able to do anything but just over idle.We need a guess from @RV440willrun
After all you had that pig in a car already and know how not slow it is.
C'mon mister 440 man! Guess an ET !!!The build heading too nowhere. lol
I'll just sit back and see where this ends up. This is making me dizzy.
I followed that build closely, because I love that car in it's patina. I wonder, though, my 5.9 might have come close to that in a light DusterAnd for a comparison the roadkill crop duster with a warmed up rv440 (cam, intake, carb, headers, stock stealth heads) made 330ish and went 12.39 at 113mph. 5.9s similar to yours have been in the 11s in a bodies. And I agree, I absolutely love that car.I followed that build closely, because I love that car in its patina. I wonder, though, my 5.9 might have come close to that in a light Duster![]()
maybe we'll see what it does in a Duster.... I have one of those too you know5.9s similar to yours have been in the 11s in a bodies. And I agree, I absolutely love that car.

When you pull the bombcycle out of the truck to put the 440 in, replace the 318 in your blue duster with the bombcycle. You will be required to change your screen name though from that point on.I followed that build closely, because I love that car in it's patina. We both typed it out at the same time!!maybe we'll see what it does in a Duster.... I have one of those too you know![]()
I only have 1 Duster now, and it already has a 360. But just an almost stock LA with SM heads. Cam is like 204 @ 050, .427 lift or somethingWe both typed it out at the same time!!
they were both blue... lolWhich duster do you have now? Did you sell the blue car?
The build heading too nowhere. lol

Got it. You had a dark blue and a light blue last I saw. So you sold the dark blue one.they were both blue... lol
I still have the one with "Plymouth" on the side
yep. I sold it here almost immediately.Got it. You had a dark blue and a light blue last I saw. So you sold the dark blue one.
I already have, post 338.mid to high 13's with your ability to tune, a bunch will be gained when you open up the heads and put in a complimenting camshaft, Whiplash or something similar
So can I put you down for a 13.75 ??? kind of in a middle of the road of your guess??I already have, post 338.
That's what I said, me I'd have that 440 running at least 2 10 tenths quicker than the 5.9 with a grinder and camshaft. at least 2.So can I put you down for a 13.75 ??? kind of in a middle of the road of your guess??
I won't put the 440 in as "mildly built" to only go 2 lousy tenths quicker. Huge waste of time and money. I will do this "test" in stock form just for the yee-haw of it.That's what I said, me I'd have that 440 running at least 2 10 tenths quicker than the 5.9 with a grinder and camshaft. at least 2.![]()
I'd say for $500 bucks and some grinding 2 is pretty dang good, now with a little more compression and some 300cfm heads a full 2 seconds isn't out of the question.I won't put the 440 in as "mildly built" to only go 2 lousy tenths quicker.
