Love it.... keep 'em coming. 318willrun will give away a nice gift for whoever gets it the closest. All ties will go to the lower ET - example: If it runs 14.05 and there is a 14.0 and 14.10 guesses, then the 14.0 would get it. Also, if more than one person guesses the same ET, then each person that guesses after the original will get a .001 add to their guess.

I love me some big block. But not when they’re stock and yanked out of an rv. Like that they barely will pull a greased string out of a cats ***. I do fly the magnum flag pretty hard though. I am a fan.

Are these guesses for first run down the track or best run of the day after tuning? Or ? What gear will it have? What is the rest of the combination that you will have in it when it counts for the contest?
I will tune it my best and it's best run will be the counter. That's only fair to the RV
RV 440. Stock cam, internals, and block, and wearing the 452 heads. It did have one rusty cylinder, I removed that piston and honed that one cylinder so.....LOL. Here is what I did before installing it in the '79 Magnum:
- 440 Torker intake on it. I do have the factory cast intake.
- 452 Heads . I had a valve job done, new springs, and I did touch the casting up some with a dremel but I wouldn't say "ported". I also, to make up the difference in the thick gaskets I used vs factory, cut them .030 so should be same as stock compression (very low..lol).
- Installed a new timing chain. I did go 2* advanced when i installed it, but probably back to TDC after running it for a bit here and there. LOL
- I'm using the carb off the 5.9. 750 DP.

Black Friday sale at Speedmaster.... I ordered SS 1.5 rocker set up for the 440... for down the road
Those things are supposed to seal up, but sealer yes...both sides.
